People for Pets runs the entire month of February at each Mounds location.
During People for Pets, Mounds Pet Food Warehouse will match up to $40,000 for Dane County Humane Society and $10,000 for the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin to further their missions.

The funds raised through People for Pets for Humane Society of Southern
Wisconsin will go towards its Capital Campaign to create a new facility.
The current facility is a 9,000 facility built-in 1976. Surgery and spay clinic
operations currently run out of a retrofitted box behind the building. Staff
desks are located in closets, garages, and in any other available space. Any
amount donated puts them closer to their 23,500 square foot, energy-
efficient space to better serve the Rock County Area.
