Very clean store and friendly sales associates. The manager is fantastic too. I’ve been shopping here for over 13 years for my dog. Highly recommend!
Mounds has the best selection of high quality food, toys and other pet necessities in the area. There are a number of frequent buyer options for dog and cat food. Cats can be viewed here. I always get nice greetings from staff and get help when needed. I’ve shopped around other stores near Janesville and continue to find Mounds to be my preference since having dogs for the last 12 years. Definitely appreciate their commitment to high quality offerings and supporting other pet organizations.
Friendly knowledgeable staff, very helpful. If they don’t know the answer, they find out 🙂 we’re very satisfied!
We love Mounds Dog Power food, and the buy 10, get one free promotion! Our dogs have been using it for over 10 years. The service is wonderful, and so is the selection.
I came in for dog food and toys for both of my English Bull Terriers, more importantly, Jackson, who is newly rescued and just diagnosed with having heartworms. Since being diagnosed his vet has instructed his activity must be kept at a minimum. Trying to keep a highly active dog is going to be quite difficult. I first asked the cashier for recommendations for a strong chewer and mental stimulation toys; he was very willing to come over and give his opinion of what would work best. This individual also remembered me from my past visits, which I found to be impressive. I continued browsing for toys and another employee came over to help. She took the time to recommend and show me around the store various toys/treats that she has used in the past and has had great results with, some I would have never thought to buy. I left with Mound’s dog food, six toys/treats, and a pleasant experience. Without the help of these two employees, I most likely would have only purchased half of that amount. These two individuals are the reason that I continue to shop at Mounds rather than online. I wish I would have got the individual’s names, but I just wanted Mounds to know what great employees you have working in the Janesville location. Fergie and Jackson would agree!
The pets in my home [and] I love Mounds Pet Food! My cat was on a special diet and I had heard such good things about Mounds Pet Food that I thought I would try switching him to a Mounds brand and a several years later he is going strong! Our dog was having an allergic reaction to a grain free dog food and I decided to switch him over to the Mounds All Stages Dog Food and all of the symptoms are gone and his coat looks incredible! Thank you!
