Position: Marketing Specialist
$20-23 per hour + Raises and Bonuses
Job Description: Mounds is seeking a Marketing Specialist at our corporate office in Sun Prairie. This position is an on-site hourly role and can be part-time or full-time. This position has room for growth, so other tasks may be assigned over time. This role will work collaboratively with different teams to support the overall marketing strategy, drive brand awareness, and strengthen community relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage print and digital ads, including monthly promotional signage
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns and email marketing for different customer groups
- Manage content for social media, the company website, and blog posts
- Update e-commerce item images and descriptions as needed
- Work with media contacts to coordinate and ensure media plans are executed
- Plan and organize company events
- Collaborate with rescue organizations on fundraising opportunities and partnerships
- Oversee the Mounds Brand Ambassador Program
- Review billing for marketing-related services
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Monday.com, and Mailchimp for creating and managing marketing materials and campaigns
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Marketing experience preferred
- Availability to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am – 4:30 pm
- Minimum 15 hours a week for part-time employment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new software programs
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
