“Solid Gold is a group of animal lovers, explorers, and nutritionists who want to give their pets the best. Our pets give so much to us so we’ve made it our mission to return the favor by giving them what they deserve – premium, holistic, natural products that allow these amazing animals to look and feel great while they live life to the fullest.
This mission began in 1974 when a pioneering, animal-loving woman by the name of Sissy Harrington McGill decided her dogs deserved a nutritious, natural food that would keep them happy and healthy. Thus, our flagship product, Hund-N-Flocken was born. Sissy believed everyone’s pets deserved the best as well and built a strong following of pets and their owners, sample by sample. Now, over 40 years later, Solid Gold has a well-developed line of natural and holistic dry foods, canned foods, treats, and supplements for both dogs and cats.”
Mounds works with Wisconsin Brewing Co. to raise money for the Dane County Dog Parks by selling Porters Biscuits! Read more here. We’re are thrilled to have them at this event showcasing their local brews!

NEXT TIME YOU’RE PASSING THROUGH, STOP IN FOR A TOUR. WE’D LOVE TO SHARE A LAUGH AND A SMILE (NOT TO MENTION, A SAMPLE OR TWO). WE’RE FIVE MINUTES SOUTH OF THE GREATER MADISON AREA, RIGHT OFF HWY 18-151.”
“Fisher King Winery is at the forefront of a wine revolution. Beyond the long term the impact of climate change on vineyard capabilities in the Midwest, there are a growing number of new, cold-hearty grape varieties being planted each year. Combined with the shifting tastes of wine appreciators worldwide and the increasingly popular “buy local” movement, Fisher King was created to embrace these trends and offer hand-crafted, artisan wines of premium quality that showcase the full potential of Midwest wine craft. Created in small batches, using labor intensive hand-methods to both harvest and process the grapes, Fisher King wines are created primarily from local and regionally grown fruit. Meticulous attention to detail in the Winery, and a commitment to bring forth the very best characteristics of each varietal, produce these exceptional wine releases.”
“We are known for our gourmet sliders and housemade chips. All recipes are made from scratch and we use local produce whenever possible. Our menu changes slightly from season to season, including specialty sliders, seasonal soups and sides. For markets and festivals, our menu becomes limited for customer convenience and fast, friendly service; but, don’t be fooled! Our menu turns limitless when it comes to catering private parties and special events.
We are always switching up our menu items and trying new recipes! Our “core” sliders include the Powerball (cheese stuffed meatball), Wilbur (BBQ pulled pork), Buff Chick (spicy shredded chicken), and Mr. Sweet Potato Head (pan-fried sweet potatoes). We have meat, vegetarian and vegan options available. Also, we have now started offering gluten-free choices as well!”
“Paddy’s Paws believes in “Rescue Done Right!” Since beginning in late 2014, and officially becoming a nonprofit in November of 2015, Paddy’s Paws has helped over 1,600 dogs find forever homes. The main focus is to find good homes, for good dogs, with good people. Many of the dogs helped are from Houston, Texas. Why Houston? The Wisconsin-Texas connection stems from a friendship that Paddy’s Paws’ founder, Erin Patterson, had with the founder of the Houston-based rescue, Lola’s Lucky Day. After taking a trip to Houston, Erin witnessed firsthand the huge homeless pet population in Houston where many dogs were getting euthanized in shelters due to lack of space. Erin created Paddy’s Paws so that dogs who would normally have no chance, could have their second chance at life. Thanks to a solid foster program and dedicated volunteers, Paddy’s Paws expanded its rescue connections and currently works with three licensed rescues: Hooves and Hounds, Houston K-911 Rescue, and Lola’s Lucky Day. In addition to helping homeless dogs from Houston, it also assists with local owner surrenders in Wisconsin.”
