I had my 9 1/2 year old springer Beaker in for grooming before the holidays. When I picked him up the groomer recommended I change his diet. His skin was very dry, flaky, and his coat had lost most of the luster. He has a lot of coat and it just wasn’t healthy. Last winter we had some problems with his coat breaking off in clumps, but had no idea it could be his diet. After trying two of the grooming shop’s samples (he wouldn’t eat them) I stopped in at Mounds and consulted with one of the staff. She recommended trying Mounds Dog Power Lamb Meal and Rice. I bought a small bag and gradually introduced it to him. After 3 weeks I am happy to report the change has been a success. He likes the food, his coat is no longer dull, and his skin has stopped flaking. Since he is an older dog, I like the idea that glucosamine and fish oils are part of the diet. I’m also extremely happy with the price.

It’s very affordable and a great buy for a premium, high quality dog food.
