Mounds is dedicated to promoting the efforts of groups and people within our communities who make a positive difference in the lives of animals.

- Jingle Bell Run/Walk in Janesville to benefit the Arthritis Foundation, December.
- Dog Fair – Held by Badger Kennel Club, November.
- Howl-Ween Party & Dogtoberfest – Howl-ween Party at all Mounds locations – including a costume contest and goodie bags for customers and their pets, October.
- Cause for the Paws Dog Walk/Run to benefit the Rock County Humane Society, September.
- Pooch Fest at Palmer Park in Janesville to benefit the Friends of Paw Print Park, August.
- Marching for Mutts – Fundraiser to benefit the Columbia County Humane Society, August.
- Dog Wash at the Mounds Janesville location to raise money for the Rock County Humane Society, August.
- Paws for a Cause Run/Walk to benefit the Dodge County Humane Society, June.
- Dog Fest – Annual event to support local rescue organizations and pet-friendly businesses, June.
- Dane County Humane Society’s Annual Bark and Wine Fundraising Event, May.
- House Rabbit Society Annual adoption event at select Mounds locations, March.
- People for Pets – 10% of all food sales go to the Dane and Rock County Humane Societies, February.
